Chaos Daemons faction overview
Chaos Daemons are the literal manifestations of the four Ruinous Powers — Khorne (Bloodletters, Bloodthirster), Tzeentch (Pink Horrors, Lord of Change), Nurgle (Plaguebearers, Great Unclean One) and Slaanesh (Daemonettes, Keeper of Secrets). The range is split between 40K and Age of Sigmar but most kits are cross-legal.
Buying advice for second-hand collectors
Daemon kits are shared between 40K and AoS — Bloodletters, Plaguebearers, Pink Horrors and Daemonettes all work in either system. The Greater Daemon kits (Bloodthirster, Lord of Change, Great Unclean One, Keeper of Secrets) are the flagship second-hand purchases. Watch for missing wing/banner sprues.
Collecting & army-building advice
Pick one or two gods; mono-god armies have stronger rules than mixed Daemons. Khorne reds, Tzeentch blues/pinks, Nurgle greens/browns, and Slaanesh purples/pinks all benefit from contrast paints over zenithal grey for fast tabletop schemes.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I use Daemons in both 40K and AoS?
- Yes — most Daemon kits have warscrolls in both systems. Bases are round for both AoS and 40K.
- Should I go mono-god or mixed Daemons?
- Mono-god (Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle or Slaanesh) typically has stronger rules. Mixed is fluffier but mechanically weaker in matched play.
- Is Be'lakor worth buying?
- Yes — Be'lakor is one of the strongest Greater Daemons in current 40K and AoS, with cross-faction utility.
