Deathwatch faction overview
The Deathwatch are the Imperium's xenos-hunters — Space Marines seconded from every Chapter to serve in mixed Kill Teams against alien threats. Their iconic black armour with silver right pauldrons and specialised weapons (frag cannons, infernus heavy bolters) define a small elite force.
Buying advice for second-hand collectors
Deathwatch lost their full faction status in late 2023 and are now Imperial Agents allies. Existing kits (Veterans, Kill Team box, Watch Captain Artemis) remain legal as Inquisitorial allies. Watch second-hand prices — uncertainty has dropped them but collector demand for the iconic black-and-silver scheme persists.
Collecting & army-building advice
Deathwatch reward conversion — every model is meant to look like a recruit from a different Chapter. Black armour with silver right pauldron (and bare Chapter heraldry on the left) is the iconic scheme. Most armies field as allies in larger Imperium forces.
