Harlequins faction overview

The Harlequins are the Children of the Laughing God Cegorach — masked aeldari warriors who travel between Craftworlds performing the saga of the Fall and fighting Chaos. Troupes, Skyweavers, Starweavers, the Death Jester and the Solitaire define a small, lethal melee army.

Buying advice for second-hand collectors

Harlequins are a small range with stable kits — Troupes, Skyweavers/Starweavers, the Voidweaver and the named characters (Solitaire, Death Jester, Shadowseer). The 2015 plastic Troupe kit remains current. Most lists run 15–30 models total.

Collecting & army-building advice

Harlequins reward bold colour — diamond patterns, bright reds, blues, yellows and freehand. They're a small army (often 25 models in 2,000 points), so each model gets attention. Use a base coat of strong contrast paints, then freehand harlequin diamonds in white/gold.

Frequently asked questions

Can Harlequins ally with Aeldari and Drukhari?
Yes — all three share the Aeldari keyword and ally cleanly in narrative play.
Are Harlequins competitive?
Niche — typically run as allies in Craftworld or Drukhari armies rather than a standalone faction at top tables.
How many Harlequins fit in 2,000 points?
Around 25 models, including 3 Starweavers, 12–18 Troupe Players, and a Solitaire / Shadowseer / Death Jester character pack.
